Jessica Fjeld is a poet, teacher, and lawyer. She is the author of Redwork (BOAAT Press, 2018) and the chapbooks The Tide (Pilot Books, 2010) and On animate life (Poetry Society of America, 2006), for which she received the PSA’s Chapbook Fellowship. In 2015, she was awarded a “Discovery” Poetry Prize by the 92Y Unterberg Poetry Center and the Boston Review. Her poems have appeared in Conduit, jubilat, Poetry, Shallow Ends, Sixth Finch, and elsewhere. She was born and raised in Vermont, educated at the UMass-Amherst MFA program for Poets & Writers and Columbia Law School, and now lives with her family in Boston, where she works at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society.
